Alison is originally from Wester Ross and the colours and structure of the Scottish West Coast have inspired much of her artwork. Her landscapes and seascapes are made to capture the spirit of the place but allow the viewer to decide their exact location. While the remote parts of Scotland is a recurring theme, Alison has also been inspired by travels to India and the Far East.
