Alison supplies her work to galleries for exhibitions around Scotland throughout the year. She enjoys meeting the people who buy her work too and takes part in the North Fife Open Studios event the first weekend in May every year. This is your chance to visit artists, designers and makers in their own work spaces and speak to them about their sources of inspiration and techniques, and buy directly from them. See www.openstudiosfife.co.uk for details. This year was another successful one! Over 400 people took the chance to come to Alison's studio and her garage, which was turned into a temporary exhibition space for the event! She's now working on the commissions for large works on canvas, placed at Open Studios. She'll then be back working on smaller paintings for mixed exhibitions, in a variety of galleries, over late summer/autumn.

Alison's work in pastel will feature in a mixed exhibition at Pitlochry Festival Theatre from Monday 16th of August 2010 to Sunday 17th October. She's also taking part in the new Borders Christmas Gift Fair, Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st October, at Springwood Hall in Kelso. She'll have giclee prints and original work there ... both work in pastel and some of her more expressive work on canvas.
